Our Paisley Community Interest Company is a not-for-profit organisation, established in May 2026 with a simple ambition: to celebrate, share and bring to life the rich cultural history of Paisley.
Paisley has a remarkable story to tell. From its world-renowned textile and thread-making heritage to its historic buildings, remarkable people, music, traditions and pivotal role in the development of Renfrewshire and beyond, the town's past is woven into the identity of its communities.
Our Paisley exists to make that history accessible, engaging and enjoyable for everyone. Through talks, guided tours, heritage experiences and community activities, we uncover the stories behind the places, people and events that have helped shape Paisley.
We believe heritage should not simply be something we read about in books or see in museums. It should be something we can experience, discuss and connect with. Our aim is to encourage local people and visitors alike to discover Paisley from a fresh perspective, developing a deeper appreciation of the town and its unique cultural heritage.
As a community interest company, our focus is firmly on creating social and community benefit rather than profit. We work to bring people together, promote local pride, support the appreciation of Paisley's heritage and help ensure that its fascinating stories continue to be shared with future generations.
Our Paisley — celebrating our town, our team and our history.
